This was a Christmas gift for Mom Mom. For the center block I used scraps and a pattern from this book. I based the rest of the table topper from this block with fabrics I bought from Joann's. The batting is Insul-Bright, so that it can act as a pot holder/trivet. I am really pleased with how it came out.

What a great idea to use quilt blocks for pot holders. I didn't know there was a special batting for pot holders either. Thanks for sharing.
